Exploring Caltex mobile offering and extending its possibilities into an integrated ecosystem
Exploring the Caltex Fuel app, we looked at ways that could improve the customers experience through a connected ecosystem. Initially explore the mobile app and fixes current problems, we exploded the possibilities of utilising Amazon Alex, Google Home and integrated these with the mobile app and Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto.
The connected ecosystem
The connected ecosystem allowed a customer to ask a home device for a the cheapest fuel location nearest to them. The information would be pasted onto the users mobile device. Once in their connected car, the location would automatically appear on the GPS navigation and guide them to the location.
